“De Coding. Alcantara in the Halls of the Tapestries” is the name of the exhibition inaugurated today, Thursday 4 April at the hall of the same name in the Royal Palace of Milan, exhibition promoted and produced by the Municipality of Milan | Cultura, Palazzo Reale and Alcantara spa, open free to the public until 12 May 2019. Alcantara’s interest is in the most advanced creativity, where the tapestries displayed in the halls “come to life” through the designs engraved by Progettiforme, which give three-dimensionality to the fabrics. of decoding and transforming a system of signs based on the changing of the support is the leitmotif of the exhibition, where the tapestry episodes are re-narrated through a material vector like Alcantara able to amplify the incisiveness of the message and allowing searches that make use of different expressive languages.
